Interparfums, Inc. has entered into an exclusive, worldwide license agreement with the sports company PUMA. The agreement grants Interparfums the rights to create, develop, produce, and distribute fragrances under the PUMA brand name.
Under the terms of the deal, Interparfums plans to introduce a new signature lifestyle fragrance in 2027. The license agreement is set to run through December 31, 2037.
Interparfums, which operates in the global fragrance business since 1982, currently manages its business in two operating segments: European operations through its 72% owned subsidiary, Interparfums SA, and United States operations through wholly owned subsidiaries. The company’s licensed portfolio of prestige brands includes Abercrombie & Fitch, Coach, Jimmy Choo, Lacoste, and Van Cleef & Arpels, among others.
PUMA is a leading sports brand founded in 1948, headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Germany. The company distributes its products in over 120 countries and employs approximately 20,000 people. PUMA owns the brands PUMA, Cobra Golf, and stichd.
