Intel’s performance was part of a wider market rally on Monday. The S&P 500 advanced by 1.16% to close at 7,739.48, while the NASDAQ climbed 1.77% to reach 26,992.96. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also rose, gaining 0.45% to finish at 51,917.33.

Intel’s gains coincided with a decline in energy stocks, which fell by 1.9% on the day. Crude oil prices also dropped, trading down 4.1% to $96.16, while gold fell 0.9% to $4,385.30.

Separately, Turning Point Brands Inc. (NYSE: TPB) shares fell 8% to $62.72. The company announced the appointment of David E. Glazek as CEO and reiterated its fiscal year 2026 net sales guidance of $260 million to $270 million.
