Installed Building Products, Inc. (NYSE: IBP) announced on October 1, 2026, the release of its 2026 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report. The filing details the company’s progress in sustainability, employee welfare, and community engagement over the past year.

According to the report, installation, distribution, and manufacturing activities accounted for approximately 62% of the company’s reported revenue in 2025. The company has reported significant reductions in its carbon footprint. Through 2025, Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions decreased by a combined approximately 21% compared to an acquisition-adjusted 2020 baseline. Additionally, carbon dioxide emissions from spray foam applications decreased by approximately 95% from the unadjusted 2020 baseline.

In terms of energy consumption, approximately 38% of IBP’s electricity usage in 2025 was supplied by carbon-free sources. The company also reported that its subsidiaries, Advanced Fiber Technology and Carolina Precision Fibers, recycled more than 92,000 tons of wastepaper and cardboard in 2025, an effort that the company estimates avoided more than 200,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions.

The company highlighted its commitment to safety, reporting zero fatalities in 2025. On the social front, the Installed Building Products Foundation Scholarship Program awarded $6.8 million in scholarships to 546 employees and their family members since 2019. The Employee Financial Assistance Program granted $763,550 to employees in need since 2019. Furthermore, the company contributed more than 1% of its annual EBITDA to support education, housing, and community resilience initiatives, with combined giving exceeding $4.1 million in 2025 alone.

IBP also detailed its responsible sourcing efforts, which included a review of selected suppliers representing approximately 50% of the company’s cash payments to evaluate policies regarding human rights, labor standards, and ethical recruitment.
