Infleqtion, Inc. (NYSE: INFQ) announced on September 24, 2026, that its Sqale quantum computing platform has achieved a milestone of 30 entangled logical qubits. The company reported that this demonstration was accomplished using just 80 physical qubits, marking the first time a neutral-atom quantum computing company has reached this specific count on a commercial system.
The achievement utilizes a combination of hardware and software co-design, along with an AI-assisted discovery process. Infleqtion stated that this approach halved the number of physical gates required for a key logical operation. The experiment confirmed the logical qubits with a signal approximately 1,000 times stronger than the underlying noise.
According to the filing, the Sqale platform uses individual qubit addressing and dynamically reconfigurable atom arrays to maintain connectivity while minimizing errors associated with atom movement. Infleqtion stated it is on a roadmap to deliver 100 logical qubits by 2028 and 1,000 by 2030.
The company noted it has three customers for logical qubit circuits on the Sqale platform. One of these customers is the Wellcome Leap Quantum for Bio (Q4Bio) program, where Infleqtion demonstrated a quantum neural network for biomarker discovery using the platform.
Infleqtion highlighted that its systems are currently in use by the U.S. Department of War, NASA, the U.K. government, and in collaborations with NVIDIA.
