Immuneering Corporation reported financial results for the third quarter of 2026 and provided operational updates regarding its clinical trials, including an extension of a Phase 2 pancreatic cancer study and accelerated enrollment for a Phase 3 trial.

The company announced that follow-up in its Phase 2 trial for first-line pancreatic cancer is being extended. This decision was made because patients on the atebimetinib combination regimen are living longer than projected. Immuneering plans to provide an update on topline data from the atebimetinib + mGnP arm of this trial, which includes 55 patients (N=55), in the first half of 2027.

In its Phase 3 MAPKeeper 301 trial, enrollment is ahead of schedule. This progress has allowed the company to expand the enrollment target from 510 patients to approximately 570 patients. The company stated that this expansion enables it to potentially accelerate its expected mid-2028 topline data readout.

Regarding its financial position, Immuneering reported cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities of $166.1 million as of September 30, 2026. Based on current operating plans, the company updated its cash runway guidance to the fourth quarter of 2028. This updated guidance reflects the Phase 2 extension, the accelerated and expanded Phase 3 enrollment, and commercial readiness activities.

For the third quarter of 2026, the company reported research and development expenses of $20.7 million and general and administrative expenses of $5.1 million. The net loss attributable to common stockholders was $24.2 million, or $0.37 per share.
