The company reported net income attributable to stockholders of $2,015 million, or $11.38 per diluted share, for the quarter. This figure represents a significant increase compared to the $403 million, or $2.15 per diluted share, reported for the same period in the prior year. Adjusted net income attributable to stockholders was reported at $2,079 million, or $11.75 per diluted share, compared to $459 million, or $2.44 per diluted share, in the prior year.
The company also reported Adjusted EBITDA of $2,984 million for the quarter. A breakdown of the company's segments shows that the Refining segment generated income before interest and taxes of $2,435 million and Adjusted EBITDA of $2,582 million. This performance was driven by tight supply of transportation fuels, elevated crack spreads, and benefits from small refinery RINs waivers granted by the EPA. The Renewables segment reported income before interest and taxes of $123 million, compared to a loss of $55 million in the prior year, driven by improved RINs prices and higher Producer’s Tax Credit benefits.
In terms of capital allocation, HF Sinclair returned $572 million to stockholders through dividends and share repurchases during the third quarter. The company announced a regular quarterly dividend of $0.525 per share, payable on December 2, 2026, to holders of record on November 12, 2026. Additionally, the company spent $479 million on share repurchases during the quarter. As of September 30, 2026, the company reported cash and cash equivalents totaling $3,333 million, a $2,355 million increase from the prior year-end balance.

He succeeds Franklin Myers, who will continue to serve as Executive Chairperson until the completion of the company's planned separation of its Lubricants & Specialties segment. The company expects to increase the size of the Board and appoint Mr. Ledbetter as a director at a future date.
