Gold.com, Inc. (NYSE: GOLD) announced leadership and accounting changes on September 14, 2026. The company’s Audit Committee dismissed Grant Thornton LLP as its independent registered public accounting firm, effective immediately. The Audit Committee approved the engagement of KPMG LLP to serve as the new independent auditor for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027.
The company stated that the reports of Grant Thornton on the financial statements for the fiscal years ended June 30, 2025, and 2026 did not contain an adverse opinion or disclaimer of opinion. Additionally, there were no disagreements with Grant Thornton on accounting principles, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope that would have required reference in the reports.
In a separate announcement dated September 18, 2026, Gold.com revealed that Cary Dickson is retiring as Chief Financial Officer. He will be succeeded by Jill Van, who currently serves as Executive Vice President and Controller. Ms. Van will assume the CFO role on September 18, 2026. Mr. Dickson will serve as a Consultant to the company for the 12 months following his retirement. Ms. Van has more than 25 years of accounting and financial leadership experience, including roles at RSM US LLP and Grant Thornton LLP.
