General Electric Company, operating as GE Aerospace, announced on September 8, 2026, that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Consolidated Precision Products (CPP). CPP is a global manufacturer of highly engineered castings, including airfoils and structural components.
The transaction is valued at a cash purchase price of $11.75 billion, subject to closing adjustments. GE Aerospace expects the deal to close in the second half of 2027. The acquisition is contingent upon the satisfaction of regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
According to the filing, CPP generates approximately $2.0 billion in revenue for 2027. The company employs about 6,600 people across more than 20 facilities worldwide. CPP supplies castings for nearly every major current-generation commercial aircraft program, as well as key defense engines and missile programs.
GE Aerospace stated that the acquisition will support the delivery of new engine technologies for its current fleet and next-generation innovation. The company projects net synergies of approximately $200 million. The deal is expected to be accretive to adjusted earnings per share and free cash flow in the first year following the close.
GE Aerospace intends to finance the transaction using existing cash and new debt. The company noted that the acquisition will not alter its current capital allocation plans.
