On September 15, 2026, The Gap, Inc. announced the appointment of Kirsten Green, Founder and Managing Partner of the venture capital firm Forerunner, to its Board of Directors. The appointment is effective immediately.

According to the company’s filing, Ms. Green brings more than two decades of experience identifying shifts in consumer behavior and supporting the leaders of generation-defining companies. Since founding Forerunner in 2012, she has partnered with over 100 companies from their earliest stages through scale, including OURA, Chime, Hims & Hers, Faire, Warby Parker, and Dollar Shave Club.

Under her leadership, Forerunner has raised nearly $3 billion from leading institutional investors. Ms. Green has been recognized on the Forbes Midas List for 10 consecutive years and is also listed among TIME’s 100 Most Influential People and Forbes’ World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.

In connection with her appointment, Ms. Green received Company stock units with an initial aggregate value of $185,000, based on the then-current fair market value of the Company's common stock. She will also receive a pro rata portion of the current $95,000 annual cash retainer amount for fiscal 2026 that the Company pays to non-employee directors.

Ms. Green stated that she is inspired by the momentum created by Gap Inc. President and CEO Richard Dickson and the team, and expressed honor in joining the Board to contribute to the company's continued growth.
