Fox Corporation released its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, reporting a record first quarter for fiscal 2027. The company reported total quarterly revenue of $4.57 billion, an increase of $833 million or 22% compared to the prior year quarter.

Revenue growth was driven by increases in both distribution and advertising segments. Distribution revenue increased 9%, with Cable Network Programming growing 10% and the Television segment growing 4%. Advertising revenue increased 47%, attributed to the FIFA Men's World Cup, higher political advertising revenue, and continued digital growth led by the Tubi AVOD service.

On the income statement, Fox reported quarterly net income of $957 million, compared to $609 million in the prior year quarter. Net income attributable to Fox Corporation stockholders was $943 million, or $2.20 per share, compared to $599 million, or $1.32 per share, in the prior year. Adjusted net income attributable to Fox Corporation stockholders was $1.09 billion, or $2.54 per share.

Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $1.64 billion, an increase of $576 million or 54% from the prior year. The company noted that higher expenses, primarily related to sports programming rights amortization and production costs for the World Cup, partially offset the revenue increase.

Segment performance included Cable Network Programming revenue of $1.80 billion and Television revenue of $2.71 billion. Cable Network Programming reported segment EBITDA of $859 million, and Television reported segment EBITDA of $934 million.

The company’s cash and cash equivalents stood at $4.536 billion as of September 30, 2026.
