Fortitude Mining Holdings, Inc. announced the appointment of Jaime Leverton as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 21, 2026. Leverton succeeds Andrea Childs, who will transition to the role of Chief Operating Officer. The announcement was made in a press release dated September 17, 2026, and confirmed in a Form 8-K filed by HeartSciences Inc. on September 16, 2026.

Leverton brings over 25 years of leadership experience across digital assets, capital markets, and infrastructure. Her most recent role was as CEO of ReserveOne, an institutional digital asset management company. Previously, she served as CEO of Hut 8, where she led the company through a merger with US Bitcoin Corp. and a transition to a direct U.S. registrant.

Fortitude is a vertically integrated digital asset mining platform focused on Zcash. The company owns and operates a diversified power portfolio of more than 60 megawatts across seven sites in South Dakota, Nebraska, Texas, and New York. In the six months ended June 30, 2026, Fortitude mined 72,696 ZEC, representing approximately 28 percent of total network production over that period. The company reported second quarter revenue of $20.9 million.

The leadership change is part of Fortitude’s preparation for a proposed business combination with HeartSciences Inc. The companies entered into a Merger Agreement on June 23, 2026. Upon the closing of the transaction, the combined company is expected to operate under the Fortitude brand and trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol "TUDE". Leverton is expected to serve as CEO of the combined entity following the merger.
