The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (FHLBank San Francisco) has announced the results of its 2026 director elections. The voting process was completed on September 28, 2026, and the newly elected directors will begin their four-year terms on January 1, 2027.

In the Arizona member director election, six candidates were nominated for one position. Michael Boden, President and Chief Executive Officer of OneAZ Credit Union in Phoenix, Arizona, received the most votes and was elected. Of the 35 eligible institutions, 25 participated, casting a total of 965,018 votes. Mr. Boden received 520,287 votes, followed by Neill LeCorgne of Scottsdale Community Bank with 135,286 votes.

In the California member director election, two candidates were nominated for one position. Incumbent director Chang Liu, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cathay Bank in Los Angeles, California, was re-elected. Of the 268 eligible institutions, 116 participated, casting a total of 5,775,626 votes. Mr. Liu received 4,878,789 votes, while Douglas Bystry of Clearinghouse Community Development Financial Institution received 896,837 votes.

The Bank’s Board has not yet determined which committees the directors-elect will serve on in 2027. Compensation for service on the Board will be subject to the Bank’s annual Director Compensation and Expense Reimbursement Policy.
