Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (FF) has announced that it has regained compliance with Nasdaq’s minimum stockholders’ equity requirement, avoiding a potential delisting. According to the company’s Form 8-K filed on September 17, 2026, Total Stockholders' Equity as of June 30, 2026, stood at $1.412 million, which fell below the Nasdaq Capital Market’s required minimum of $2.5 million under Listing Rule 5550(b)(1).

However, the company reported that as of July 31, 2026, it had regained compliance and maintained that status through the date of the filing. This improvement was driven by targeted liability reduction initiatives during July and August 2026. Specifically, the company reduced notes payable by approximately $10.0 million based on a preliminary fair valuation of the instrument as of June 30, 2026. Additionally, the company lowered its derivative call option liability by approximately $5.8 million and decreased accounts payable and accrued liabilities by approximately $15.3 million. The latter reduction was primarily due to a $13.5 million decrease in employee-related liabilities and a $2.5 million cleanup of legacy vendor accounts payable.

FF reported that its cumulative sales and shipments of its EAI (Embodied AI) robot reached 552 units by the end of August. The company noted that these units have generated positive product gross margins. The filing also stated that the final financial results for the third quarter of 2026 remain subject to auditor review and will be disclosed in the company’s Form 10-Q for Q3 2026.
