Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (FF) announced on September 23, 2026, a long-term employee equity incentive plan for its indirect, majority-owned robotics subsidiary, FF EAI Robotics Inc. (FF Robotics). The plan, titled the FF EAI Robotics Inc. 2026 Equity Incentive Plan, allocates approximately 25% of the subsidiary's capitalization on a fully diluted basis to provide long-term equity incentives for the company's core management team, key leaders, and key employees.
The company disclosed that several executive officers received stock option awards under this plan on September 22, 2026. YT Jia, the Company's founder and Global Chief Executive Officer, was awarded 10,000,000 stock options. Jaiwei Wang, the Global Executive Chairman, received 1,974,000 stock options, and Xiao Jiang, Vice President of Human Resources, received 690,000 stock options. Each award is subject to a four-year vesting schedule, with 25% vesting on the six-month anniversary of the grant date and the remaining 75% vesting in 36 monthly installments.
The stock options were granted at an exercise price equal to the fair market value per share as determined by a 409A independent valuation on the grant date. The awards are exercisable only for stock of FF Robotics, and the equity of the subsidiary is not convertible into equity of the parent company, Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc.
In conjunction with the announcement, FF Robotics launched its Robot World 2.0, which includes 11 models and 24 products spanning three robot forms and five series. The company stated that the equity incentive plan is designed to align the interests of the core team with FF and its stockholders, aiming to strengthen operating efficiency and value creation while helping the subsidiary establish a partnership model in the robotics industry.
