Espey Mfg. & Electronics Corp. has dismissed its independent registered public accounting firm, WithumSmith+Brown, PC, and appointed PKF O’Connor Davies as the new auditor. The change was approved by the Company’s Audit Committee on October 13, 2026.
The Company stated that Withum’s reports on its financial statements for the fiscal years ended June 30, 2025, and June 30, 2026, did not contain any adverse opinions, disclaimers, or qualifications regarding uncertainty, audit scope, or accounting principles. Additionally, the Company reported no disagreements with Withum on matters of accounting principles, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope during those periods, nor were there any reportable events.
Concurrently, the Audit Committee selected PKF O’Connor Davies to serve as the new independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027. The appointment is subject to the completion of PKF’s standard client acceptance procedures. The Company noted that it has not consulted with PKF regarding specific accounting principles, audit opinions, disagreements, or reportable events during the fiscal years ended June 30, 2025, and June 30, 2026.
