Equifax Inc. reported financial results for the three months ended September 30, 2026, showing a 10% increase in reported revenue to $1.693 billion. On a local currency basis, revenue grew by 9%. The company reported net income attributable to Equifax of $211.7 million, a 32% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) attributable to Equifax were $1.79, up 39% year-over-year.
Revenue growth was driven by strong performance across the company’s business segments. Diversified Markets revenue increased by 8% on a reported basis and 7.5% on a local currency basis. Within this segment, Talent Solutions grew by over 20%, Consumer Lending grew by high double digits, and Government grew by mid-single digits. U.S. Mortgage revenue increased by 15% despite a weaker market environment. International revenue grew by 9% on a reported basis and 7% on a local currency basis, with low double-digit growth in Australia and high single-digit growth in Latin America.
Equifax returned $158 million in cash to shareholders during the quarter. This included $92 million spent on share repurchases and $66 million paid in quarterly dividends. The company also announced the acquisition of Círculo de Crédito, which it expects to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Looking ahead, Equifax is maintaining its guidance for Diversified Markets revenue growth of high single digits. However, the company has reduced its full-year 2026 revenue guidance at the midpoint to $6.661 billion due to the impact of a significantly weaker U.S. mortgage market. Despite this, the company expects to deliver Adjusted EPS of $8.50 per share for the full year, a reduction of only $0.04 per share at the midpoint.
