Energy Transfer LP has announced a voluntary transfer of its listing from the New York Stock Exchange to the Texas Stock Exchange. The company approved the withdrawal of its Common Units and 9.250% Series I Fixed Rate Perpetual Preferred Units from the NYSE on September 3, 2026. The Partnership expects the trading of these units on the NYSE to cease at the close of the market on October 2, 2026.
Trading of the Partnership Units is scheduled to resume on the Texas Stock Exchange at the market open on October 5, 2026. The ticker symbols for the Common Units and Series I Preferred Units will remain unchanged, designated as TXSE: ET and TXSE: ETprI, respectively.
In a press release dated September 10, 2026, the company stated that the move aligns with its Texas-based legacy and the technology-driven platform of the TXSE. Energy Transfer LP owns and operates a large portfolio of energy assets, including approximately 140,000 miles of pipeline and associated infrastructure across 44 states.
