Endovia Health Sciences, Inc. (NYSE American: EDVA) announced on September 22, 2026, that it has closed $500,000 of initial secured convertible debt funding from C/M Capital Master Fund, LP. This amount represents the first tranche of a previously announced $1 million investment commitment from C/M Capital.

The financing is intended to support the development and commercialization of CannEpil®, a cannabinoid health science asset. Endovia intends to use the capital to advance its U.S. Food and Drug Administration-regulated veterinary development program and to pursue international commercialization initiatives.

The company is developing CannEpil® for the management of cancer-related pain in companion animals, specifically beginning with canine oncology. Endovia is working with Lupvindol Biosciences Ltd. as a veterinary development partner. The U.S. FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine has established Investigational New Animal Drug (INAD) File No. 14145 for this program.

The announcement highlights the company’s view of a constructive federal backdrop for botanical drug development. The FDA recently launched an initiative seeking public input on advancing botanical drug development in the United States. Additionally, Congress is considering the Advancing Botanical Drug Development Act of 2026 (H.R. 10150). Introduced on August 27, 2026, by Representatives Lauren Boebert and Derrick Van Orden, the proposed legislation would amend Section 505 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to provide qualifying botanical drugs approved through the FDA’s Section 505(b)(1) pathway with a 12-year period of market exclusivity.
