DynaResource, Inc. announced on September 4, 2026, that its wholly-owned Mexican operating subsidiary, DynaResource de México, S.A. de C.V., has received a refund of approximately US$4.0 million from Mexico’s tax authority, the Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT). The funds were received in cash on September 2, 2026, and represent the recovery of outstanding value-added tax (IVA) credits.
The payment is part of a final resolution from SAT that approved MXN $75.0 million (~US$4.4 million) of IVA credits for the period from January 1 through June 30, 2025. Of this total approved amount, MXN $69.5 million was received in cash, with the remaining balance settled through administrative adjustments.
As of July 31, 2026, DynaResource de México’s outstanding IVA receivables totaled MXN $500 million (~US$29.3 million), inclusive of the MXN $75.0 million resolution. Following this recovery, approximately MXN $425 million (~US$24.9 million) remains outstanding and is subject to separate refund applications and SAT review procedures.
Rohan Hazelton, CEO of DynaResource, stated that the receipt of the first IVA refund proceeds since 2023 marks an important milestone for the company. He noted that the company remains focused on pursuing the recovery of the remaining IVA receivables and is hopeful regarding the recovery of the remaining five years' worth of IVA credits, which total more than US$25 million.
