Dream Finders Homes, Inc. (NYSE: DFH) announced its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026. The company reported homebuilding revenues of $942 million, an increase of 3% compared to the same period in 2025. This growth was driven by an increase in home closings and strategic lot sales, partially offset by a lower average selling price (ASP) due to changes in geographic and product mix.

For the quarter, the company closed 1,967 homes, a record for the period, and achieved year-to-date closings of 6,127, also a record. However, net sales decreased to 1,712 from 2,021 in the prior year, though excluding built-for-rent activity, net sales increased by 6%. The company’s homebuilding gross margin was 14.9%, down from 17.5% in the prior year, primarily due to higher land and financing costs and inventory impairment charges of approximately 70 basis points.

On the balance sheet, Dream Finders reported total liquidity of $521 million as of September 30, 2026, comprised of cash and cash equivalents and availability under its revolving credit facility. The company also repurchased 386,103 shares of Class A common stock for $6 million during the quarter.

In a significant development, the company completed the acquisition of Beazer Homes USA, Inc. on October 20, 2026, in an all-cash transaction with an enterprise value of approximately $2.2 billion. The acquisition expands Dream Finders’ footprint into new markets including California, Nevada, Indiana, and Delaware. The company noted that the Beazer acquisition resulted in $23 million of one-time transaction costs during the third quarter and expects additional nonrecurring costs in the fourth quarter. The company reiterated its 2026 full-year guidance of approximately 9,250 home closings.
