Dow Inc. provided an update regarding its operational restructuring efforts during a presentation at the Morgan Stanley conference. The company stated that in the third quarter, it successfully completed site transformations at six specific locations.
In addition to the completed transformations, Dow announced that work has commenced at three additional sites. The company indicated that this ongoing work is part of its broader strategy to optimize its manufacturing footprint.
Dow also addressed its approach to non-core assets. The company stated that it will continue with the divestiture of non-core businesses and the shutdown of assets where it determines that value cannot be created.
