Dorman Products, Inc. reported financial results for the third quarter ended September 26, 2026, showing a 3.3% increase in net sales to $561.7 million. Despite the top-line growth, the company reported diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.98, a decrease of 20% compared to the prior year. Adjusted diluted EPS was $2.08, down 21% from the prior period.

The company attributed the year-over-year earnings decline to the timing of tariff-related pricing, which benefited the third quarter of 2025. Segment performance included light duty sales of $443.7 million, heavy duty sales of $66.1 million, and specialty vehicle sales of $51.9 million. Gross profit for the quarter was $221.6 million, or 39.4% of net sales, compared to 44.4% in the prior year.

Dorman also reported $64.6 million in cash from operating activities and repurchased $15 million of common stock during the quarter. Year-to-date share repurchases reached a record $112 million.

Regarding full-year 2026 guidance, Dorman narrowed its outlook based on performance through the first nine months of the year and expected pricing actions in the fourth quarter. The company now expects net sales growth of 2% to 3%, diluted EPS of $7.95 to $8.15, and adjusted diluted EPS of $8.50 to $8.70. The updated guidance excludes the impact of potential tariff changes after October 26, 2026, future acquisitions and divestitures, and additional share repurchases.

The company will hold a conference call and webcast on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
