The Walt Disney Company’s Chief Financial Officer has provided an update on the financial performance of the company’s streaming service, Disney+, during the most recent quarter.
The CFO stated that Disney+ achieved an operating margin of 13% in the quarter. The executive anticipates that the streaming service will maintain double-digit operating margins for the full year.
In addition to discussing financial metrics, the CFO highlighted a strategic initiative regarding user profiles. The company is working to create a system that links profiles across its platforms. This initiative, described as a "one fan, one account ecosystem," aims to integrate Disney profiles with Hulu profiles.
