On October 12, 2026, the Board of Trustees of the Destra Multi-Alternative Fund announced three key initiatives: the implementation of a share repurchase program, an increase in monthly distributions, and an update regarding the Fund's term structure.

The Board has authorized a share repurchase program designed to enhance shareholder value and support the Fund's market price. Repurchases are expected to commence following a 30-day cooling-off period. The Fund may buy shares of its common stock on the open market when the shares trade at a discount to net asset value (NAV), subject to market conditions and regulatory requirements. Clear Street has been appointed as the executing broker for this program.

Separately, the Board approved an increase in the Fund's regular monthly distribution to $0.1150 per share. This increased rate will apply to the months of October, November, and December 2026. The Fund has provided the following schedule for these distributions:

The Fund also announced that it has entered the Measurement Period related to the continuation provisions of its term structure. The current Term is scheduled to expire on March 31, 2027. During this period, the Board may extend the Term for up to one year. Additionally, if specified performance criteria are met, the Fund may qualify for a continuation of its Term for up to three additional years.

The Fund estimates that the distributions for October through December 2026 will be paid from a combination of net investment income and other sources. The exact source of each distribution—whether it is net investment income, capital gains, or return of capital—will not be determinable until after the close of the fiscal year on March 31, 2027.
