Dell Technologies founder Michael Dell has seen his net worth increase by over $110 billion in 2026, according to Bloomberg data. This surge has elevated the 61-year-old to the fifth richest person in the world with an estimated net worth of $250 billion. The primary driver of this wealth accumulation is the significant rise in Dell Technologies stock, which has jumped 320% this year.
The company’s financial performance has been a key factor in the stock's ascent. In the second quarter, Dell reported a revenue increase of 58%, reaching $47 billion. This growth was largely fueled by its Infrastructure Solutions Group, which saw revenue climb 89% to $31.8 billion. Specifically, the company’s AI-optimized servers generated $16.4 billion, representing a 100% year-over-year increase. Additionally, the Client Solutions Group reported revenue growth of 20% to $15 billion.
Following these results, Dell raised its full-year revenue outlook by $25 billion, targeting $192 billion. The company noted that its robust AI demand is being driven by major technology firms, including Microsoft, Alphabet, and Amazon, which are continuing their infrastructure buildouts.
Dell’s personal wealth is closely tied to his ownership stake in the company. He holds a 40.9% stake in Dell Technologies. Analysts have maintained positive outlooks on the stock, with price targets ranging from $575 to $650. Furthermore, Dell’s investment portfolio includes a significant stake in Broadcom, stemming from his previous ownership of VMWare.
