Daily Journal Corporation announced on October 13, 2026, that it has completed the acquisition of Revir Technologies, Inc. The transaction involved a merger of a wholly owned subsidiary of Daily Journal with and into Revir.

Revir is an Austin, Texas-based software company that provides the Scout platform. This platform assists law enforcement, prosecutors, corrections, and other justice and public safety agencies in managing, searching, and analyzing large collections of digital evidence and files using artificial intelligence.

Under the terms of the agreement, Revir will operate as an independent entity within Daily Journal’s newly established Courts, Justice, and Government Technology division. This division will also house the Company’s existing subsidiary, Journal Technologies, Inc.

The acquisition was funded with cash on hand, and the financial terms were not disclosed. Daily Journal stated that the transaction is not material to the Company and is not expected to have a material effect on its financial condition or results of operations.

Revir’s founder and CEO, Marc Messina, and his team will continue to lead the company. The company noted that existing customer contracts, partner integrations, and support will remain in place. Revir’s technology is deployed within each customer’s secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment.
