D-Wave Quantum Inc. has announced that it will host Qubits Asia 2026: Quantum Realized, a full-day quantum computing user conference. The event is scheduled to take place on October 28, 2026, in Seoul, South Korea.
The conference is focused on the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and aims to showcase production applications that address complex business challenges. The event will also highlight research advancing scientific discovery and the latest developments in D-Wave’s annealing and gate-model quantum computing technologies.
D-Wave executives, including CEO Dr. Alan Baratz and Chief Development Officer Dr. Trevor Lanting, will be in attendance. They will share updates on the company’s technologies, commercial applications, and advances in quantum AI.
Key speakers include Shuichi Fukuda from NTT DOCOMO, who will discuss two D-Wave-powered applications now operating in production; Wanki Cho from LG CNS, who will present on using D-Wave technology for 3D CT imaging; Professor Daniel Park of Yonsei University, who will explore annealing quantum computing for generative AI; Po-Hsun Fang of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, who will present a framework for reticle optimization; and Assistant Professor Seon-Geun Jeong of Gyeongsang National University, who will discuss optimizing port operations using real data.
