CRH public limited company announced on October 23, 2026, that it has completed its acquisition of Arcosa, Inc. The transaction, valued at a total enterprise value of approximately $8.5 billion, was previously agreed upon on June 22, 2026.

CRH describes Arcosa as a leading U.S. provider of aggregates and critical infrastructure products. The company states the acquisition is highly complementary to its existing business, advancing a strategy focused on an aggregates-led, connected portfolio. The deal is intended to reinforce CRH’s position as a leader in U.S. and global aggregates, increasing its exposure to demand from major road, water, energy, and data projects across the country.

CRH’s CEO, Jim Mintern, commented that Arcosa is an excellent strategic fit that aligns with the company’s growth ambitions. He noted that the acquisition strengthens the connected portfolio and reinforces CRH’s position as the number one infrastructure player in North America.

CRH plans to provide updated full-year 2026 guidance reflecting the completion of the Arcosa acquisition with its third-quarter results on October 29.
