Contango Silver & Gold Inc. (NYSE American / TSX: CTGO) issued a press release on September 8, 2026, detailing the status of its 2026 field operations across its portfolio of mineral properties. The company reported that its field teams have successfully completed multiple milestones safely, on time, and on budget.

At the Manh Choh mine, the third campaign of 2026 began on August 20, 2026. Modifications for recovering higher-grade sulfide ore from the South Pit have been completed and implemented at the Fort Knox mill. The current campaign is expected to continue through September, with production anticipated to remain consistent with previous guidance. Results from the campaign are scheduled to be included in the Q3 financials, which are anticipated in November 2026.

At the Lucky Shot project, the surface drill program was completed on August 29, 2026, with 29 holes totaling approximately 5,800 meters. The program aimed to infill mineralization in the Coleman portion of the resource and test structural continuity. The first batch of assays was released on September 2, 2026. The company noted that the underground drill program will commence later in the week, beginning with the testing of the newly discovered KM vein system. Approximately 10,000 meters of underground drilling is planned between now and February 2027 to support a Feasibility Study to be finalized in 2027.

At the Johnson Tract Critical Metals Project, permitting for surface infrastructure, including an access road and barge facility, remains on schedule. Field surveys and environmental and cultural baseline studies have been conducted in accordance with an approved Programmatic Agreement. Geotechnical drilling within the easements has been completed, and on-site construction of the road from camp to the portal location is finished. The portal pad and surface site preparations for underground exploration drift development are also complete. The company stated that these milestones de-risk the project as it moves toward development.

At the Kitsault Valley project, as of September 6, 2026, the company had completed 123 drillholes and returned over 46,446 meters of core. All eight Dolly Varden target areas and the Homestake target areas have been drilled. The drill program is expected to be completed by the end of September. Analytical results from Torbrit and North Star are imminent, and the updated Mineral Resource Estimate is expected to be released by late September.

Contango will host a conference call and webcast on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 11:00am EST / 8:00am PST to discuss these project updates.
