Construction Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROAD) announced on October 19, 2026, that it has completed the acquisition of S.E. Cline Construction, Inc. The transaction involves the purchase of a commercial site development and underground utility construction company headquartered in Palm Coast, Florida.
The acquired operations, which include approximately 60 employees, will be integrated into Construction Partners’ Florida platform company, C.W. Roberts Contracting, Incorporated (CWR). The deal adds significant capabilities to CWR, which previously acquired P&S Paving, Inc. in Daytona Beach last year.
Cline Construction provides site development and underground utility construction services for public and private projects throughout northeast and central Florida. The integration is expected to enhance Construction Partners’ ability to serve infrastructure customers along the Interstate 95 corridor.
The acquisition also includes a rail-served, permitted hot-mix asphalt plant site located in Bunnell, Florida. The company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Fred J. (Jule) Smith, III, noted that the asset provides an opportunity for future vertical integration and organic growth as the company expands its operations along Florida’s east coast.
Construction Partners is a vertically integrated civil infrastructure company operating in local markets across the Sunbelt, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
