ConnectM Technology Solutions, Inc. (OTCQX: CNTM) announced on October 19, 2026, the formation of a Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) to support the company’s expansion into the AI energy infrastructure sector. The board will focus on advising management on data-center power, cooling, storage, and intelligent energy management, as well as strengthening relationships with institutional investors and improving profitability.
The company appointed three members to the board: Ashish Kulkarni, Neil Bhatia, and Jim McCabe. Ashish Kulkarni is a director at Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH) and a former executive vice president and chief innovation officer at GAF. Neil Bhatia is a former senior executive at Fortress Investment Group, Shumway Capital Partners, and Marcato Capital Management. Jim McCabe is the founder and CEO of Las Olas Capital.
The Strategic Advisory Board is tasked with four key priorities: building the AI energy infrastructure business, strengthening institutional positioning, developing strategic partnerships, and improving profitability and capital allocation. The board will work directly with ConnectM’s management to identify customers and partners in data-center power, cooling, storage, and intelligent energy management.
The announcement comes as the International Energy Agency projects that electricity consumption from data centers will more than double, rising from approximately 415 terawatt-hours in 2024 to approximately 945 terawatt-hours in 2030. ConnectM’s Keen Labs platform designs, sources, and distributes distributed energy equipment and AI-enabled controls to address this gap.
