Concentra Group Holdings Parent, Inc. announced the appointment of Tanner Newton as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 1, 2026. The appointment is part of a broader leadership transition announced earlier this year, where Matthew DiCanio will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer on the same date.

Newton, age 34, currently serves as the Company’s Senior Vice President of Strategy & Finance, a position he has held since January 2025. In his new role, he will report to Matt DiCanio and lead the finance organization, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, capital markets, corporate development, and investor relations.

Newton has a background in private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining Concentra in January 2025, he served as a Principal at Tailwater Capital LLC, a Dallas-based private equity firm, from January 2017 to January 2025. Before that, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Piper Sandler & Co. Newton holds a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business Honors, both from Texas A&M University.

Concentra noted that Newton’s appointment reflects the strength of the company’s leadership bench and the completion of a multiyear succession process previously announced by the board of directors. The Company stated that Newton has played a key role in defining Concentra’s strategy and financial priorities and has established relationships with the company’s equity and debt holders.

Concentra is the largest provider of occupational health services in the United States by number of locations.
