Co-Diagnostics, Inc. (Nasdaq: CODX) announced on September 16, 2026, a collaboration with ReadyGo Diagnostics Ltd. to evaluate the integration of ReadyGo’s sample-preparation technology with the Co-Dx PCR platform for blood-based molecular testing at the point of need.
The collaboration aims to assess whether the technologies can work together to create a streamlined workflow for sample preparation, detection, and outbreak response. The initial focus of the collaboration is decentralized Ebola virus detection and outbreak response.
Co-Diagnostics noted that establishing blood as a compatible sample type would extend its PCR platform beyond swab-based testing into a broader category of bloodborne pathogens that swab sampling cannot reach. The company stated that the longer-term significance of the work could be the potential to expand the platform into additional applications, including HIV and hepatitis B and C.
ReadyGo’s GoCollect technology is designed to prepare capillary blood samples for molecular testing through integrated sample-conditioning chemistry and plasma separation. The technology is also intended to inactivate the virus at the point of collection.
The companies have begun feasibility work to evaluate the compatibility and workflow integration of the two technologies. Co-Diagnostics has taken delivery of ReadyGo materials and devices to support that evaluation.
Co-Diagnostics stated that there can be no assurance that the evaluation will be successful or that it will result in a commercially available product.
Co-Diagnostics will host a live press conference and webcast on September 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. ET to discuss the collaboration.
