Steven Ryder has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of Clearway Energy LLC, effective October 1, 2026. Ryder will succeed Rubenstein and maintain his existing role as CFO of CEG. The filing notes that Ryder, age 58, has served as CFO of CEG since September 2018, where he leads corporate finance, risk, financial planning and analysis, and capital markets. Prior to joining CEG, Ryder was CFO of Invenergy LLC from 2006 to 2018 and held finance and technical roles at GE Energy Financial Services, the International Finance Corporation, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and AT&T.
In addition to the CFO transition, the company appointed Samantha Prout as Senior Vice President, Accounting and Controller, effective September 8, 2026. Prout, age 48, succeeds Rubenstein as the principal accounting officer. Most recently, Prout served as Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at Amicus Therapeutics (Nasdaq: FOLD) since 2018.
