Claritev Corporation (NYSE: CTEV) announced on September 14, 2026, that its Board of Directors has appointed Ben Letham to fill a vacancy on the board. The appointment is effective immediately, and Letham has also been appointed to the Risk Committee of the Board.
Letham is a research scientist at Meta (Nasdaq: META), where he leads cross-company research focused on technical and scientific work. The company noted that his extensive experience in artificial intelligence (AI) and optimization systems will enhance the Board’s expertise to support Claritev’s growth strategy.
According to the filing, Letham has co-authored more than 30 research papers, primarily on applied AI for business problems. He is also known for co-creating Prophet, an open-source forecasting tool designed to help non-experts gain insights from data. Prior to his role at Meta, Letham began his career as a research assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital and holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from MIT.
Claritev stated that Letham does not have a family relationship with any of the company's directors or executive officers and does not have a material interest in any transactions required to be disclosed. His compensation as a non-employee director will be determined in accordance with the company's non-employee director compensation policy, as described in the proxy statement filed with the SEC on March 20, 2026.
