Cirrus Logic, Inc. announced on October 6, 2026, that it has completed the acquisition of INVENTVM Semiconductor S.r.l., a fabless semiconductor company based in Pavia, Italy.
INVENTVM specializes in mixed-signal power management and audio integrated circuits. The company brings deep engineering expertise and intellectual property to Cirrus Logic, which the company intends to use to accelerate the development of industry-leading products and expand into new applications and markets.
John Forsyth, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cirrus Logic, stated that the acquisition adds innovative intellectual property, expands engineering capacity, and increases talent depth. He noted that the teams have worked together closely for several years.
Michele Chiabrera, Chief Executive Officer of INVENTVM, expressed pride in the team's accomplishments and stated that joining Cirrus Logic will create new opportunities to advance technology and support customers.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The press release indicates that the transaction will not have a material impact on Cirrus Logic’s revenue.
