Champion Homes, Inc. (NYSE: SKY) announced on October 5, 2026, that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Timberline Homes, Inc. (THI). The transaction is intended to expand Champion Homes' retail footprint in the Southeastern United States.
Under the terms of the agreement, Champion Homes will acquire Timberline's retail operations, which consist of nine established locations in Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. Champion describes Timberline as a highly respected retailer that assists customers with permitting, financing, home selection, and site preparation.
The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2027, contingent upon the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. Champion Homes stated that all Timberline employees will be offered employment by Champion following the completion of the transaction.
Tim Larson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Champion Homes, commented on the strategic fit of the acquisition. Dennis Adams, President of Timberline Homes, Inc., expressed confidence in the partnership and the shared customer-centric approach of both companies.
