Celularity Inc. announced on September 29, 2026, that Naveen Jain has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr. Jain’s appointment is effective upon the completion of the applicable Rule 14f-1 information statement process. The appointment was designated by certain investors pursuant to board designation rights granted during a previously announced September 2026 financing.
Mr. Jain is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Viome Life Sciences Inc., a company that utilizes artificial intelligence and molecular data for personalized health and nutrition. His previous entrepreneurial ventures include founding InfoSpace, Intelius, TalentWise, and Moon Express. Mr. Jain joins the Board with a focus on the shift toward proactive healthcare and the commercialization of regenerative therapies.
In connection with this appointment, Diane Parks notified the Company of her resignation from the Board, effective as of the same time as Mr. Jain’s term commences. The Company stated that Ms. Parks’ resignation was not the result of any disagreements regarding the Company’s operations, policies, or practices.
The Board currently consists of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert J. Hariri, M.D., Ph.D.; Peter H. Diamandis, M.D.; Philip A. Barach; and Naveen Jain. Celularity indicated that it expects to announce a fifth director shortly.
