Celularity Inc. has entered into an exclusive manufacturing and commercial collaboration with Vesalius Longevity Labs Inc. to establish a U.S.-based supply platform for peptide active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The agreement, announced on October 29, 2026, designates Celularity as the exclusive partner for the finish manufacturing of Vesalius’s Peptual-branded peptide APIs.
Under the terms of the collaboration, Celularity will utilize its facility in Florham Park, New Jersey, to perform downstream purification, processing, and analytical testing on bulk peptide material provided by Vesalius. The manufacturing activities are intended to satisfy current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) standards and establish defined product specifications, documented sourcing, and lot-level traceability.
The collaboration aims to create a domestic supply chain to address regulatory concerns regarding the quality and provenance of imported pharmaceutical ingredients. The parties intend to supply eligible Peptual APIs to appropriately licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies if the U.S. Food and Drug Administration adds covered peptide substances to its list of bulk drug substances for compounding. The collaboration specifically excludes GLP-1 receptor agonists and other weight-loss peptides from Vesalius’s business model.
Celularity’s Chief Executive Officer Robert J. Hariri, M.D., Ph.D., stated that the partnership represents an important business opportunity and a practical extension of the company’s regenerative longevity strategy. Vesalius CEO Pradeep Albert noted that Celularity’s capabilities and experience manufacturing complex biological products provide a strong foundation for the venture.
The press release includes a regulatory notice stating that the peptides and APIs described are not FDA-approved drug products and that the collaboration does not constitute FDA approval or endorsement.
