Capstone Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: CAPS) announced preliminary operating results for July and August 2026 on October 1, 2026. The company reported that organic revenue increased 7.6% year over year to approximately $14.0 million for the two-month period, while organic gross profit rose 6.5% to $3.5 million.
Through August 31, year-to-date organic revenue increased 4.6% to approximately $48.1 million, and organic gross profit grew 6.5% to $12.5 million. The company noted that gross profit growth outpaced revenue growth during this period.
The results cover all three operating businesses—Instone, Carolina Stone, and Canadian Stone Industries—on a comparable basis. Capstone stated that it continues to deliver organic revenue growth despite a contraction in the broader building-products market.
Management highlighted several strategic initiatives, including plans to expand a regional warehouse in the Pacific Northwest into a full-scale distribution operation and to expand Carolina Stone's offerings beyond stone into siding. The company also noted the successful rollout of Eldorado Stone and plans to continue expanding its product portfolio and geographic reach.
CEO Matthew Lipman commented that the preliminary results indicate strong progress against the company's growth and profitability objectives. The company plans to advance its capital-efficient growth strategy in the months ahead.
Capstone emphasized that these figures are unaudited and preliminary, subject to change, and do not include results for September. The company intends to report its full third-quarter results in its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q.
