Cabot Corporation announced a leadership transition on September 11, 2026, effective October 1, 2026. The company’s Board of Directors has elected Erica McLaughlin as President and Chief Executive Officer. McLaughlin succeeds Sean Keohane in the role of CEO. Concurrently, McLaughlin will step down from her current position as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Head of Corporate Strategy.

To fill the vacancy left by McLaughlin, the Board appointed Steven J. Delahunt, the company’s Vice President and Treasurer, as Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis. Delahunt has served as Vice President and Treasurer at Cabot since 2010. Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President of Investor Relations from July 2016 through January 2026.

Delahunt will lead the finance organization while the company conducts a search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer. He has over 30 years of experience in finance and treasury, including oversight of global treasury activities, capital markets strategy, and liquidity management. As interim CFO, Delahunt will receive an additional monthly cash stipend of $35,000.
