Bridger Aerospace Group Holdings, Inc. has entered into a definitive Aircraft Services Agreement with Metatek Group Ltd. to provide dedicated aviation support for global geophysical survey operations.
Under the terms of the agreement, Bridger will modify, operate, and maintain a fleet of three Basler BT-67 turbine-converted aircraft. The aircraft will be configured to Metatek’s specifications to support onboard sensor and mission equipment. Bridger is responsible for sensor and mission systems integration, including engineering and certification for the program.
The contract includes an initial term of five years for each aircraft, with an automatic renewal for an additional five-year period unless either party provides timely notice of non-renewal. The first missionized BT-67 aircraft is expected to enter service in 2027, subject to required modifications and certifications.
Bridger has committed to making each aircraft available for mission tasking at a minimum availability rate of 80% on a rolling twelve-month basis. Bridgeporth Ltd., a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales and an operating subsidiary of Metatek, will pay fixed monthly fees and usage-based flight-hour charges. The agreement also includes provisions for shortfall payments if actual utilization falls below committed minimum levels.
The agreement requires Bridgeporth to cause Metatek-Group Ltd. to provide an unconditional and irrevocable guaranty of payment obligations. It includes customary provisions regarding indemnification, insurance, confidentiality, and export control compliance.
Bridger estimates the total revenue potential of the agreement to be up to $183 million over the life of the contract, assuming full commitment and induction of all three aircraft and the exercise of each renewal term. The company notes that this estimate is a forward-looking statement and actual results may differ materially.
