Boeing's Chief Financial Officer has updated the company's outlook for free cash flow in 2026, adjusting the forecast based on the current production ramp-up rates for its 737 and 787 aircraft.

The CFO stated that the company expects free cash flow for 2026 to be around $2 billion. This figure represents the midpoint of Boeing's previous forecast range for the year.

The update was driven by slower-than-expected production rate increases for the 737 and 787 models. The CFO noted that these slower ramp-ups into the end of the year reduce the likelihood of the company reaching the upper end of its previous free cash flow forecast.
