bioAffinity Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: BIAF) announced on September 22, 2026, that it will present data regarding its noninvasive lung cancer diagnostic, CyPath Lung, at the 2026 NAVREF Annual Conference. The event is scheduled for September 27 to 30, 2026, in Arlington, Virginia.

The company will present two posters highlighting the technology's application in clinical practice and its evaluation in veteran and military populations. Representatives from bioAffinity Technologies and its distribution partner, AvMEDICAL, will be present to discuss the technology's potential benefits and commercial momentum.

Poster #1, titled "CyPath Lung in Practice: From Uncertainty to Clarity and Confidence," details three clinical cases involving high-risk patients with indeterminate pulmonary nodules. The presentation describes how CyPath Lung was used alongside standard evaluations, including low-dose CT and blood-based testing, to accelerate diagnosis and guide clinical decisions.

Poster #2, titled "BA-004: Detection of Early-Stage Lung Cancer in Sputum using Flow Cytometry and an Automated Analysis Pipeline," focuses on the ongoing FlowPath Lung study. This 2,000-patient longitudinal study is designed to evaluate the clinical performance of the CyPath Lung test in veteran and military populations. The study is currently enrolling patients from 12 VA medical centers and two military hospitals, with support from the John P. Murtha Cancer Center Research Program.

The poster highlights the test's at-home sputum collection method and previously reported performance metrics for nodules 20 mm or less, including 92% sensitivity, 87% specificity, and 99% negative predictive value. The company notes that these results may not be indicative of performance in broader populations.

The announcement references a 2024 economic analysis by pulmonologists at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center, which concluded that the utilization of the test could result in savings to healthcare systems associated with lung cancer screening and diagnosis.
