bioAffinity Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: BIAF) announced on October 29, 2026, that it will participate in the Lung Cancer Initiative of North Carolina’s “Battle of the Blues” event. The company stated it will join physicians, patients, and other healthcare providers to highlight advancements in diagnostics and therapies for lung cancer.

The event is scheduled for November 5, 2026. During the gathering, the company intends to discuss its noninvasive CyPath Lung test. The test is designed to analyze the lung microenvironment to detect malignancy.

CyPath Lung is marketed as a Laboratory Developed Test (LDT) by Precision Pathology Laboratory Services, a subsidiary of bioAffinity Technologies. The test uses advanced flow cytometry and proprietary artificial intelligence to identify cell populations in patient sputum that indicate cancer. It provides a binary result of “Likely” or “Unlikely” for malignancy to assist physicians in assessing lung cancer risk.

According to the company, CyPath Lung has detected lung cancer as early as curative Stage 1A. In a published clinical trial involving high-risk patients with small indeterminate lung nodules less than 20 millimeters, the test demonstrated 92% sensitivity, 87% specificity, 88% accuracy, and 99% negative predictive value.

The company noted that CyPath Lung is not intended for use as a sole diagnostic tool and should be considered alongside other clinical findings.
