Bally's Corporation announced on August 30, 2026, that Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Mira Mircheva intends to resign from her position. The resignation is effective September 4, 2026, though Ms. Mircheva will remain with the company through September 30, 2026, to ensure a smooth leadership transition. The filing states that Ms. Mircheva is leaving for personal reasons and that her resignation is not the result of any dispute with the company.

To fill the role during the transition, the Board of Directors has appointed George Papanier, the company's President, as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Papanier will assume the role effective September 4, 2026, while retaining his current positions as President and member of the Board of Directors. The Board has also initiated a search to identify a permanent Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Papanier brings over 40 years of gaming industry experience to the interim role. He is a Certified Public Accountant who previously served as the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer from February 2011 to October 2021. He also served as the interim Chief Financial Officer for Bally's in 2023 and has served as President of Bally's land-based casino operations since October 2021.

In a statement, Robeson Reeves, Chief Executive Officer of Bally's Corporation, expressed confidence in the transition. He noted that Mr. Papanier has been instrumental in developing the company's business model and asset portfolio and that the reporting, controls, and capital markets work will continue without disruption.
