Autonomix Medical, Inc. announced the appointment of Sandra Cohen Kalter to its Board of Directors on September 14, 2026. The appointment increases the size of the Board from five to six members, with Ms. Kalter serving as an independent director effective immediately.

Ms. Kalter brings more than four decades of experience in the medical device and healthcare industries, with a specific focus on regulatory strategy and corporate transactions. From May 2011 to January 2025, she served as Vice President and Chief Regulatory Counsel at Medtronic plc, where she advised business units on FDA strategy, clinical matters, and quality systems. During her tenure, she oversaw due diligence and integration activities for more than 27 acquisitions.

Her experience includes regulatory and strategic involvement with major Medtronic platforms, including the Symplicity Spyral Renal Denervation system, Evolut TAVR platform, Micra Transcatheter Pacing System, and PulseSelect Pulsed Field Ablation system. Prior to joining Medtronic, she spent 13 years as FDA/Healthcare Counsel at King & Spalding LLP.

Ms. Kalter currently serves as a Strategic Advisor to iTolerance, a privately held Type 1 diabetes company, and has held board positions with AdvaMed, the Food and Drug Law Institute, and Breakthrough T1D. She holds a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University National Law Center and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.

Chairman Walter Klemp noted that Ms. Kalter’s experience at a global medical device leader provides valuable insight into evaluating emerging technologies and navigating regulatory pathways. Upon her appointment, she will participate in the Company’s standard compensation program for non-employee directors but has not yet been assigned to any Board committees.
