AudioEye, Inc. announced on October 20, 2026, that its Board of Directors has approved a new program to repurchase up to $15.0 million of the company's outstanding shares of common stock. The authorization is valid until October 18, 2027.
The new program replaces a previous authorization that was originally scheduled to expire on January 24, 2027, which was terminated in connection with the approval of the new plan. The company intends to fund the repurchases using working capital and cash from operations.
Repurchases under the program may be conducted through open market purchases, block transactions, privately negotiated transactions, accelerated stock repurchase programs, or through Rule 10b5-1 plans. The timing and amounts of any purchases will be determined based on market conditions and other factors, including price. The company noted that the program may be amended, suspended, or discontinued at any time and does not obligate it to repurchase any specific dollar amount or number of shares.
In a statement regarding the announcement, Kelly Georgevich, Chief Executive Officer of AudioEye, stated, "We expect to generate meaningful cash over the next year as operating leverage continues to increase. We believe that share repurchases are one of the highest-impact ways to deliver value to stockholders."
