Atrium Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNA) announced on November 2, 2026, that it will present new nonclinical data regarding its investigational therapy ATR 1072 during the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Medical Society (HCMS) at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions 2026. The presentation is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. CT, in Chicago, Illinois.

The data being presented were generated using a new mouse model of PRKAG2 syndrome developed by the Company. The model demonstrates key features of the disease, including cardiac glycogen accumulation, cardiac hypertrophy, and electrocardiogram (ECG) abnormalities. In the study, mice received a single dose of mATR 1072, a mouse surrogate of ATR 1072, after the disease features had been established for three weeks.

The Company reported that treatment with mATR 1072, which targets disease-causing variant PRKAG2 mRNA in the heart, led to the reversal of cardiac glycogen accumulation. Additionally, the treatment resulted in improvements to other key disease features, including hypertrophy and ECG parameters.

The presentation, titled "Targeting PRKAG2 mRNA with mATR 1072 to improve glycogen-storage cardiomyopathy in a mouse model of PRKAG2 syndrome," is listed under Presentation Number HCM32 and Poster Board Number 32.

Atrium is also advancing a Phase 1/2 clinical trial known as Corventis. This open-label, multicenter trial is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and efficacy of ATR 1072 in participants living with PRKAG2 syndrome. The study is expected to enroll approximately 37 participants across two parts.
