Atmos Energy Corporation entered into an underwriting agreement on October 6, 2026, to sell $700 million in aggregate principal amount of 6.000% Senior Notes due 2036. The underwriters for the transaction are BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Credit Agricole Securities (USA) Inc., and U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc. The company anticipates that the offering will close on or about October 9, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
According to the filing, the notes will be issued pursuant to an indenture dated March 26, 2009, between Atmos Energy and U.S. Bank Trust Company, National Association, as trustee. The issuance will be modified by an Officers’ Certificate to be dated October 9, 2026.
